Basilio Suite
On the first floor, on the east side of the house. It's the first room to be bathed in sunlight when the sun rises over the lake.
You can get there through the exterior entrance for the guest rooms or from the front desk; you can also take the elevator.
Inside, the Hortus style: colors, modern details, and vintage items from our family that are just there, without explanation.
The bed is a king-size bed, and there’s a small desk for anyone who wants to write or just sit for a moment. The bathroom, with a walk-in shower, overlooks the greenery.
The living area features a sofa that converts into a bed, a dining table, and a kitchenette equipped for making coffee, a quick meal, or an aperitif without having to leave the room. It includes a minibar, a kettle, and a coffee maker, just like in every room at Hortus.
Then there's the terrace. Shaded, peaceful, with lounge chairs facing the garden and the pool. It's separate from the terrace of the Felicita Suite, but the two can be combined into a single space if both suites are booked.
The morning here has a different kind of light. It's worth waking up early, at least once.
