Ernesta Suite
The second floor can be reached by climbing three flights of stairs or, more conveniently, by taking the elevator from the reception desk.
It is one of our most spacious and bright suites. The sleeping area and living area are separate, designed to provide plenty of space and a true sense of home.
A king-size bed, artwork we’ve handpicked, vintage family heirlooms alongside more modern touches—that’s the Hortus style, always. The bathroom is simple and functional, designed for every moment of the day.
The living area is one of the most beautiful spaces in the suite: a sofa bed, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare a meal, make coffee, or enjoy an aperitif on your own. As in every room at Hortus, there is a minibar, a kettle, and a coffee maker.
But the terrace is the most special part. It opens up like a small amphitheater, with a view of the Hortus garden, the pool, the greenery of Bellagio, and the two branches of the lake. There are small tables and chairs so you can sit there, listening to the birds and the slow rhythm of the garden.
It is separate from the Cherubina Room, but the two spaces can be combined by booking both rooms to create a single, even larger terrace.
